Mathematics

Year 10

Year 10 Mathematics builds on the skills from year 9 where students start to use their mathematical skills to solve more applied problems. Many of the skills are applied across other curriculum areas, such as ways to collect, represent and interpret data in new ways. Topics focus on developing collaborative, critical and creative prolem-solving skills. This course is designed for students intending to continue in the General Mathematics courses in Stage 1 and 2. Students studying this course will also have the opportunity to complete their SACE compulsory Numeracy requirement across the year.
