Students undertake one semester of History. It provides a study of the history of the modern world and the role of Australia from 1945 to the present, with an emphasis on both Australia in its global context and the impact of world and local events upon Australian Society. Students investigate four themes: change, identity, perspectives and systems. There is the opportunity to draw connections between historical events and current world events, allowing students to refine their historical knowledge, understanding and skills to become more globally aware citizens.
