Students focus on the growth and development of children from conception to 8 years and look at issues related to the growth, health and wellbeing of children. Students critically examine the diverse range of values and beliefs about childhood and the care of children and the nature of contemporary families. This subject enables students to develop a variety of research, management and practical skills.
