For the purpose of this subject outline, ‘work’ is considered in its broadest sense, and is defined as all fields of paid and unpaid activity. ‘Workplace’ or ‘work-related context’ is defined as any environment in which an individual operates to produce a service and/or product. There are three areas of study within Workplace Practices:

• Industry and Work Knowledge
• Vocational Learning
• Vocational Education and Training (VET)
