Library
The Library is the heart of our school, providing a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging space where students can read, research, create, collaborate, and learn.
Our collection supports both curriculum and recreational reading interests, with a diverse range of resources for students across all year levels. Students can explore a wide fiction collection organised by genre, including Adventure, Animals, Classics, Children’s Classics, Dystopian, Fantasy, Historical, Horror, Human Relations (realistic fiction), Mystery, Romance, Science Fiction, Sports, and Supernatural.
In addition to our fiction collection, the Library offers:
- Non-fiction resources organised using the Dewey Decimal Classification system
- Biography and Autobiography collections
- Graphic Novels
- Manga
- Picture Books
- Easy Reads for developing and reluctant readers
The Library is committed to fostering a love of reading and helping students discover books that reflect their interests, experiences, and aspirations. Regular displays, reading promotions, new book showcases, and special events encourage students to explore new authors and genres.
Beyond reading, the Library supports information literacy, research skills, digital learning, and academic success. Whether you’re searching for your next favourite novel, researching a class project, or looking for a quiet place to learn and connect, the Library has something for everyone.
