Mitcham Girls High School offers many avenues for involvement and participation. We welcome and value parental involvement in their daughter's education and in the life of the school.
Enquiries are welcome at any time, as are requests to discuss your daughter's progress or concerns regarding her education.
Communication regarding student progress takes place in an ongoing fashion through phone calls, diary notes, emails, letters and parent/teacher conferences.
Information pertaining to student progress, achievement, homework, classwork and deadlines is also communicated via Daymap. Parents can communicate with their daughter's teachers via Daymap messaging.
The Daymap Parent Portal provides up-to-date information about student progress, with reference to achievement, homework, classwork and deadlines. Read more
A series of information evenings are held throughout the year. They include Year 7 and 8 parent evenings, information evenings specific to events or cohorts, SACE information evenings, parent/teacher conferences and subject counselling.

If you would like to help, please contact the Canteen Manager on 8272 5575 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Library welcomes help on a regular or occasional basis. There are many tasks that support our work, ranging from book covering to using computers.
Parents with sports skills are invited to coach, or assist with the coaching of, our school's sports teams.
