Textiles Taster

30-Jun-21Bags produced by Year 9 students after just 3 weeks of Textiles!

This term, Year 9 Food Tech classes have completed a 3-week taster of Textiles where they created a clutch or card holder. This idea was inspired by local Adelaide designer, Tiff Manual. The task involved students creating their own pattern on white canvas making it truly their own! It was great to see such amazing pieces of artwork! The students enjoyed this assignment as it allowed them to be creative and walk away with something that they are proud to use! For some, it provided good insight into the courses provided in Year 10 and onwards in textiles and design.
