Mitcham Girls High School

Vocational Education Training (VET)

We work collaboratively with neighbouring schools, TAFE SA and private RTOs to enable students to access VET Certificate courses.

VET courses are made up of units of work (competencies) that are nationally recognised.  Most VET courses are accredited as part of the SACE.  Parents must be aware that performance in all other subjects affects the results of the VET subject, particularly at Stage 2 (Year 12).  Information regarding available courses can be accessed at isca.eschoolsolutions.com.au or read the attached booklet from the Inner South Curriculum Alliance.  Many more courses are available from TAFE SA and private RTOs.
