Science is a dynamic, collaborative, and creative endeavour that helps us understand the world. It allows us to explore the unknown, make predictions, and solve problems. Through empirical investigation, science provides reliable answers to important questions about our changing world.
Learning science fosters critical and creative thinking, encouraging students to ask questions and draw evidence-based conclusions. Scientific literacy enables meaningful engagement with contemporary issues, diverse perspectives, and informed decision-making. Throughout our science program, we have integrated units where students will develop skills within Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
A strong science education improves students’ scientific literacy, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively, preparing them for various careers in the field of STEM. Developing these competencies enables students to solve real-world problems and continue their studies in STEM fields.
