Mitcham Girls High School

Vocational Education Training (VET)

We work collaboratively with TAFE colleges and other organisations to enable students to access VET Certificate courses.

The VET curriculum is made up of units of work that are nationally recognised and have been developed in consultation with training organisations and industry.  Some VET courses may be accredited as part of the SACE.  Students and parents must be careful when considering studying a VET subject as not all of them count towards the SACE.  In particular, parents must be aware that performance in all other subjects affects the results of the VET subject.  Information regarding available courses can be accessed at isca.eschoolsolutions.com.au or read the attached booklet from the Inner South Curriculum Alliance.
